About Kylie

Kylie is a RAD qualified teacher and is currently studying for a Masters in Education (Dance Teaching) with the Royal Academy of Dance. In addition to running the Tiny Ballet School Kylie also works as Learning Development Manager for Central School of Ballet in London. Kylie completed the RAD's Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies in 2012 and has taught at a number of schools throughout Hampshire, Surrey and London. She has experience of working with students of all ages, from baby ballet up to adult in both syllabus and non syllabus classes, as well as experience of choreographing for shows and coaching for exams and assessments.

In the summers of 2013 and 2012 she taught choreography at the Basingstoke Academy of Dance Summer School as well as acting as the co-manager for the 2013 Summer School. Last year Kylie returned to BAD to teach ballet repertoire for their summer school, and currently teaches their RAD Grade 6 syllabus class.

Since 2007 Kylie has regularly been contracted by the RAD to work as a chaperone and acting housemother during their London based residential summer schools. Kylie has been fortunate enough to work alongside and be inspired by a number of wonderful teachers including Tanya Schipelbaum of Basingstoke Academy of Dance and Kit Dickinson of the RAD Dance School and Firststeps School of Dance.
